Dr. Doug Kutner, Biography

-- Doug earned his doctoral degree in Clinical Child Psychology and Psychology of the Handicapped Child from Ohio State University. In his practice he has specialized in all aspects of giftedness, and in motivation and attention difficulties of children, teens, and adults. Deeply interested in the role of music and arts in the lives of children, he has been very involved in developing arts-education training programs as a consultant to Young Audiences, an organization which links music and the arts classrooms in thirty U.S. cities. Most recently he has been involved in the creation of "Arts for Learning," a national internet-based resource program for helping teachers integrate the arts into their classroom activities (www.arts4learning.org). |
